RESPONSIBILITY
- Collaborate with the Media and Data/Design Flow teams to transform Datalayer Documents into datalayer code that can be implemented on client websites or apps.
- Develop and customize tracking implementations such as GA4, GTM, Facebook Pixel/Conversion API, TikTok Pixel, LINE Tag, etc.
- Design and manage Server-side Tracking (GTM SS, Cloud Run, Stape, or other server-side solutions) to enhance data efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with clients and their development teams to integrate datalayer code and validate event tracking accuracy.
- Debug and resolve tracking issues such as duplicate events, missing parameters, or event mismatches.
- Research new MarTech / AdTech / Conversion API technologies and recommend practical applications to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in JavaScript programming with a solid understanding of DOM and event handling.
- Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and other tracking tools.
- Hands-on experience in datalayer design and implementation.
- Familiarity with or experience in Conversion API (CAPI) and Server-side Tracking.
- Basic understanding of APIs, Webhooks, and server-side environments such as Node.js, Cloudflare Worker, or Google Cloud Run.
- Skilled in debugging and QA of tracking events using browser dev tools, GTM debug mode, or tag checker tools.
- Knowledge of SQL / BigQuery / Data Pipeline is a plus.
